Regrets

Things I regret:

Not:
- getting an internship so I could have the experience necessary to get a chemical engineering job once I graduate
- taking a picture with High Five Flower Dress girl (Freyja) outside the bar in Reykjavik, hours before leaving Iceland
- going to professors for help. I use to feel like I was too dumb to even know what questions to ask.
- not starting a band in Cooper
- living in the dorm
- learning how to shred
- saying hello to all those gorgeous, cool lookin girls I see all over the place
- playing varsity soccer
- starting to sing at an earlier age
- having more sex in high school
- not screwing up a friendship because of a girl (that one's a double-negative)
- thinking of something really witty to say all those times when it would have helped me make a point or help my situation in some way
- taking the mini SD card out of my phone before I gave it to the mugger
- putting the birthday money from my grandma in that little pocket in my jeans, before getting off the J train late at night
- running from the mugger, or stopping when he first tried talking to us
- getting nervous and remembering all the words when I was on stage, especially during the Rock Lobster performance when I forgot part of the first verse

Things I don't regret:

- not growing up sheltered
- not going to a technical high school and not being bred into a technical whiz before college
- applying to Cooper Union
- not being obsessed with Pokemon
- not being a fan of the band Tool
- learning that there was more than radio music, and delving into it in middle school
- having a girlfriend for three years in high school
- cliff jumping in the quarry and getting an ear infection and going to the demolition derby at the Orange County Fair on the same day, then rupturing the ear's eardrum while on one of the unsafe rides at the fair
- starting running when I did, junior year of high school
- walking or riding to school every day in high school
- not getting my license or a cell phone until I was a senior in high school
- my first car being stick
- Being raised in Goshen, NY
- Not drinking until college
- working at the pizza place all through high school

Dedication to Back to the Future

Last year I was George McFly for Halloween because he's an awesome character and because my friend Heitz said I should be him. I took the time to make this clip from my perfectly legal digital copy of the movie. Youtube let me put it up, but it can't be shown in some countries, and I'm not allowed to embed it or link it, so here's the "link": www dot youtube dot com/watch?v=xUXjfYFwgZo. The stuff's gold. "Density has pot me to you."
"Whaaat?"
"Oh.. what I meant to say was, destiny has brought me to you."
